Hello everyone!!!

This is the blog about the most important day of our lives: our wedding!!!

It will be an absolutely special fun packed weekend which we want to share with all of you, but until then we still have much work ahead. We will use this blog to keep you up-to-date with any news and to tell you everything about our wedding planning, excitement, stress and happiness.

Well, how about this then? Only one of the event suppliers, yes the one supplying the toilets, asked us what the 3 words are for the delivery address. So, we looked it up

" Weds.Acted.Congratulations "

You can't make this stuff up! Brilliant :-)

At 3pm on Saturday 28th October, 8 months before we say I do, we managed to successfully announce our Wedding Event Dates.

FaceBook have missed a trick here, as we are sure there are loads of people who want to be able to pin a post to the top of their FB page with a running countdown. We have seen people post a static countdown, a snapshot taken for their post mainly for holidays. Unless you have a Facebook page, you cannot embed html code and there are no apps or features available to provide this. Creating a Facebook page would duplicate our Website. So, we decided to create a link to the countdown instead. Not ideal, but you have to work with the tools available to you.

Who'd have thought organising a hen party event/location would be such a headache! I have so many ideas that I'd like to share with my lovely hens, but just cannot decide! Please bear with me - I will get something pinned down ... eventually !!!

We have completed working through all the menus for the events with our chef Ian from Marmite Catering . We look forward to everyone enjoying his amazing and delicious food and generous helpings too! We have added dietary options for you to select when you confirm your attendance.

A pause for Christmas but we hope you liked our wedding theme for our card this year.

First task of the New Year ... making it official!

We've booked to "Give Notice of Marriage" at Hertford Registrars on (well what other day could it be?!) Valentine's Day. The romantic journey continues 🥰

Thanks to our Best Man MIke, who recommended the Canal Grande Hotel to us and after quite a lot of work by Martin, we finally pulled the trigger on 3 nights at this fabulous hotel.

Obviously, we are very disappointed and have had to change our wedding reception party from an afternoon & evening to an evening only event.

Look out for your purple envelope with gold address label...
